In October, we had visit from O/O Brewing for a collaboration brew. Since we both love brewing - and drinking - lagers, we decided to try brewing a style of lager that was new to both of us - a Schwarzbier.
Svart is a true German Schwarzbier, brewed with love of hops and love of Germany. Saphir and Tettnang hops provide zesty citrusy hop aromas on top of a well balanced roasted malt profile, and a clean and crisp finish. Our collective vision of a hoppy Schwarzbier.
