Dry-hopped Berliner Weisse w/ Lime Zest!
Gemini is our new series of Berliner Weisse coming in a set of two different beers, originating from the same wort. For these first two beers, the base beer is a Berliner Weisse brewed with 50% wheat malt, and with Lime Zest added in the whirlpool. This version was dry-hopped at a rate of 15 gr/L - as much as we use in our Double IPA's - which gives a tremendous zesty, fruity and bright character. Huge lime, lemon, passion fruit aromas, and an ultra thirst-quenching experience.
We are quite taken aback by this beer - a huge impact of lime and hoppiness on the aroma - bright, dank, passion fruit and lime, and just super bright and intense. The taste has a small and delicate lime-like bitterness, and just a burst of exploding dry-hop flavors.
