Our 2022 Winter release Blackstar is a Black IPA hopped with classic Simcoe, Chinook and Centennial hops. We believe these citrusy, old school hops complement the light roastiness of a Black IPA very well, and the result is a Black IPA with a great balance between the citrus, orange and pine notes, and the light chocolate-like roastiness that comes with the malts we’ve chosen.
A touch of malt-sweetness balances bitterness, roasted malt and hop flavors, making Blackstar a very balanced, easy drinking - yet hop forward and flavorful Black IPA.
